Three truths and no lies
1). One time in college, I dressed up as a lunch lady (complete with hairnet) and danced in front of the entire school to a parody of “Bye Bye Bye.”
2). My favorite past time is reading. I love it so much I have tattoos devoted to a few of my favorite series.
3). Early 2000’s hip hop is a literal gift to society.
Where It Started
Not to over simplify things but Brooke Light Photography was born out of an obsession for photos that make you feel something.
Where I Am Now
Over time, I realized my work could make people feel things and I’ve built everything around that pillar. That realization led to my primary focus:
Moody Mini Photoshoots: Kids showing up as they are, wearing what they want, no smiles required. These sessions are about authenticity, not performance.
What’s Next
My goals for 2026 are to bring Moody Mini Photoshoots to multiple cities across the US, continue to support photographers who want to improve their people skills within this business and explore many more creative editorial style photoshoots with brands and clients.
Whether it’s my clients in front of the lens or photographers behind it, the goal is the same: to create space where authenticity isn’t just allowed, it’s pursued. Let’s talk more.
